During the heavy rains, my car had been playing up and it was towed to Tyrepower in Morisset on a Sunday afternoon and key was received by the Boss.
A couple of days later, after having called the business, I was then advised to come to the store.
I'd been informed by the Boss that the car was essentially a write-off due to heavy water damage. I was told something along the lines of a flooded engine, a conrod bent valves, if I remember correctly. It sounded very worrying.
I was then also informed that the business did not have my car key at hand as I was ready to get the car towed away from the business. About ten minutes later the key suddenly appeared as it was handed to me by a member of staff.
I then thought I might as well try and start the car and to my surprise it started and working with only a little effort.
I felt I'd been largely misled during this entire exchange with Morisset Tyrepower, having received conflicting pieces of information.
