48watt is a beautiful 100 year old deconsecrated church situated in the heart of Newcastle. St. Philip's Presbyterian Church was built on the site in the heart of Newcastle in 1905. It has since been deconsecrated and with the generous support of Newcastle City Council, 48watt is the home of Tantrum Youth Arts. 48watt is a new and innovative arts and cultural space, and is available for hire for theatre rehearsals and productions, music events, workshops, wedding ceremonies, and other cultural and community events. We are located in close proximity to Newcastle's stunning beaches and picturesque King Edward Park and can accommodate for up to 150 people. 48watt has workshop and performance spaces available for hire. The workshop space (the Hall) is a large room - approx 12m x 10m. The Hall has mirrors on one wall and is air conditioned. Tamburlaine is Australia's largest producer of organic wines, although not a large winery in world terms. The winery was established in 1966 in the renowned Pokolbin district of the Hunter Valley. We have a wedding sandstone ceremony area with French gates to walk through a large garden area with an indoor industrial / barn look reception area. The two eco cabins hold up to 15 people. Cookabarra Restaurant and Function centre is part of the widely acclaimed Tailor Made Fish Farms Aquaponics facility, located at Bobs Farm NSW Australia. The farm has been sustainably producing Barramundi and Leafy Vegetables from the fish farming nutrients for 13 years. The company has consulted on, and built farms internationally, as well as developing systems for Australia's University Aquaculture Research facilities. To date, all of our Barramundi has been grown for the Sydney live fish trade. We now are ready to showcase our product locally.
