Worst customer experience ever and we dine out at least 2x per week. We waited 10 minutes to order drinks and when she finally came she said she had forgotten all about us. There were only two others there at the time and at least 4 staff. We asked 3 times for menus and finally 30mins after being seated got one. Then nothing, ignored. Finished our drinks and left. The person who seated us and took payment was very rude.
Whilst I stayed at Railway, it was going through some changes and some of the staff were new however, the pub style dinner was good and well priced. The rooms were very basic and loud and had to share bathrooms with everyone else. It did have it's own kitchen and bottle shop for everyone to use and it's close to the botanical gardens. Not too bad if it's only for one night.
Rude staff, the young girl who took my order was clearly learning and got my order wrong which was fine. How the staff acted after I sent it back was not okay. Also the calamari was that chewy and hard it couldnt be eaten
