I find myself waking up daily amazed that I get to do this as my career. When I’m not travelling around filming weddings I adore spending time outdoors riding motorcycles, hiking and camping on the South Coast or sitting around the fire pit at home with our kids under the stars. Life really does throw you curveballs sometimes. I found myself quitting my 9-5 grind in the hope of finding greater fulfilment in life. I never could have dreamed my passion for cinematography and editing would completely change my outlook on life and my future. I was first drawn to photography and videography through my love of the ocean, documenting its many moods and those that ride her. This led me to attended university, arming myself with the knowledge to translate emotions through sound and image, my camera allowing me to interpret what I see, fascinated by intricate details that are so often overlooked. My approach to wedding cinematography is to document your day in a fun, non-obtrusive way. I aim to capture authentic moments to create a gateway back to how you felt in that moment. By shooting in a handheld, cinematic style, I can tell your story in the most intimate way, as though you are right there with me.
