Extremely quick battery and tyre replacement

I recently took my van here for a service and pink slip. I was called at lunch time to be told my vehicle was in very bad shape with the repairs totalling nearly $7000. My partner and I went in later that afternoon to be told that the van is close to defect and that driving it would be a danger to not only ourselves but all the other people on the road and that they are "not in the business of killing people". I was absolutely terrified to drive it home and proceeded to catch the train to work for the next fortnight whilst we waited for a second opinion. The next mechanic told us it was totally roadworthy and a few minor issues needed to be resolved i.e brake pads. Still worried and scared I took it for a 3rd opinion to be certain. I was again told there were minor issues. The van is now re-registered and completely repaired for the total of $1000. The lovely mechanic who fixed it told us he doesn't know how people like this sleep at night, neither do I.

Friendly, helpful, half the price of another quote I was given plus fixed another problem on my car at no charge. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.
