I had a very bad experience with Newcastle city Holden. I purchased a 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara in October 2014 with 100,000ks. I do about 40,000ks a year, salesman said that if I get the mechanical protection plan and take it to them for servicing, it will have a capped service price and I won't have to worry about anything.
Well that's not what happened - they didn't take good care of the car at all. If it's covered by the mechanical protection plan they won't do it unless you ask. The capped price service only covers an oil change, and checking the car. And when your car blows a head gasket, not only did they say it's not covered they charged me $260 to diagnose it, something a mechanic down the road did for free.
The reason I took it to a mechanic down the road was because Newcaslte Holden quoted me $8,000-11,0000 to put in a refurbished engine. Or potentially pay even more to fix it.
After having the car re diagnosed within 5 minutes at the other mechanic I was quoted $2
We bought a new Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Edge AWD recently at Charlestown Toyota. We dealt with Kiran and found him to be polite, courteous, honest and respectful. He explained all details of our vehicle in simple language and was in no way pushy to seal a deal. He would be an asset to any company and we would have no hesitation in recommending Kiran to any future buyers.
I bought a all wheel drive what a joke, I tried to get a pink slip today the 27.9.2021, they say I was ripped off badly, I tried to ring them apparently the company has closed down, what a joke
Just received my first ever bill shock. Make sure you get a great deal on your car as you will need the extra coin to pay for the service costs. Once bitten twice shy.
