Bought my 2 year old in and though I wish I didn't need to bring her to a tyre shop but these guys had it covered! The waiting room had children toys, chairs, activities and a television. I was able to entertain her while I had my tyres done! I was given great advice and service highly recommended.

The Bicycle Pedlar is a bike shop in Townsville, run by people who choose not to own a car and enjoy using bicycles to get to work, do the shopping, take the cardboard to the recycling centre or go out for dinner! We are passionate about bicycles as transport, recreation and fun and love talking to people about commuting by bicycle, cycle touring, getting the kids out riding and all those wonderfully practical aspects of bicycle use that are so important to everyday life. We love cycle touring and are always planning our next trip, whether it's just overnight or a longer period. The Bicycle Pedlar sells touring bikes including the Surly, Vivente and Fuji touring models and usually has at least one of each in stock. We carry touring and commuting gear such as Ortlieb panniers and Tubus racks as well as Brompton folding bikes and Brooks leather saddles. Other brands we stock include Breezer, Gazelle, Greenspeed, Esperia, Lazer, Da Brim and Schwalbe tyres.

i have had mr Locke work on my bike in his garbutt shop, he fitted new tyres to my triumph -after building the wheels with new rims,he told me how he fitted race bike tyres to formula one bikes in europe ,the brand new tyres still had factory wax on them - the latest metzler radials -work great -how your treated has to do with your own attitude - Allan -recommend 100% mick dromgool
