I recently stripped the drive belt on my BMW motorcycle just outside Bulahdelah. Got it in to Bakers Towing and they could not have been more helpful. Kept the bike there while a belt was shipped up from Sydney. Replaced the belt without any qualms. Gave me updates and checked in during the week while I arranged to get back there from Brisbane. And then presented a bill that I thought must have been just for the week's storage, it was so small an amount! Great work, great people, great service, great price. I'd recommend Bakers Towing to any biker who has any difficulties anywhere near the Bulahdelah area. Many thanks to Arthur and Pat for the help they gave to this stranded biker!

The lovely team at Bakers towing have been fantastic with problems that we had with our car, just before Christmas. They helped us to solve a mystery dash message. This month my sister really needed help with an emergency tow after an accident. These wonderful people calmed her down and gave her so much help that went above and beyond. SO thanks you so much Bakers, you are such lovely people.

My car broke down on the way from Forster to Sydney, near Bulahdelah. Arthur was able to pick me up in a tow truck and prioritise my car the very next morning so I had an idea what was wrong with it. After getting public transport back to Sydney and then back up to collect my car a few days later they were very accommodating to make sure I could collect my car outside of office hours. Great service and highly recommend!

Marx fit me in the week before Christmas and had my car back to me within the day. The service is incomparable and I’d recommend them to anyone in need of something big or small. Also picked up a new set of tyres while I was there did not hesitate to have them fitted. Service with a smile 10/10

I needed the valve stem on my boat trailer tyres replaced ( 4 wheels in total over 2 trips ) the guys took the tyres straight away pulled the old ones and replaced them. Fast quick and efficient service done in less than 10mins each trip. I will be taking all my vehicles to them in the future. Great team great business couldn’t be more impressed.

Mark was lovely and went above and beyond. I bought a van with fancy wheels and thete was no tool included to fit them. Mark changed my flat tyre and r eeplaced it.

We went to Modern Motors Nabiac to have our very hot caravan near side wheel hub & tyre looked at. We were worried about continuing our journey to Newcastle. Then we met Mitch. From the outset Mitch was courteous, professional & listened to our concerns with the hot tyres, as we were worried about continuing to drive. Mitch checked both wheels and advised that it was ok to continue our trip home but to take it easy on the brakes. We made it home no probs & have booked a caravan service. We thank you Mitch for your professionalism, honestly & for helping us out. Very much appreciated

Need cheap new or used tyres?
Choosing the reight set of Tyres
A top-notch set of tyres not only works wonders for stability but also gives a leg up to fuel efficiency. When cooking up new tyres, manufacturers have their work cut out for them – they must factor in grip, handling, comfort, and longevity. It's practically an art and science combined. Car tyres aren't just there to make your ride look snazzy; they're the unsung heroes keeping us safe on the road. And let's face it, safety is where it's at!
Picking the right tyre size is no small potatoes – if they're too big or small, you could throw a wrench in your ride quality and fuel efficiency. Plus, you'd run the risk of doing a number on your suspension components! So do yourself a favour; treat those tyres like those killer kicks you've got your eye on.
Made from some high-tech synthetic rubber compounds with just a dash of secret sauce (well... maybe not exactly top-secret), tyres are engineered to rise above all sorts of challenges out there on the open road. After all, nobody wants to cruise around on bald tyres! They can take the heat or cold and even laugh in the face of wet conditions to keep aquaplaning at bay.
Those wicked cool tread patterns etched into your tyres? They are more than just pretty faces; they bolster grip by shooing water away from under your wheels when things get soggy.
Don't skimp on tyre TLC: keep tabs on pressure levels, make sure they are distributed evenly around your vehicle, and give 'em a good ol' rotation now and then. A quick pressure check should become part of your monthly ritual.
