And would like to rectify any wrong doings by the company, as we pride ourselves on our service and client care. You are correct - Somnio does offer a FREE phone service in Phuket. These phones are to ensure our clients have direct contact with our staff in Phuket & the hospital at our expense. It also is for loved ones to make contact with you when abroad (you can give them the numbner). The 700THB you paid as a 'bond' for the phone was refunded when the phone was returned. We also use basic phones .. so the cost IF the phones break, are stolen or lost is minimal to the client (being the 700THB bond) if we had smart phones this cost would be much greater to the client and is hardly worth it. IF we allowed international calls, the cost for Somnio would be astronomical and at this stage a service we cannot offer. However we do encourage clients to download VIBER or SKYPE on their phones to contact loved ones FREE over the internet which is supplied at our contracted hotels and the hospital.
I am also very concerned that no one has been in contact with you. I personally have gone over ALL clients that have traveled in the last 3 months and all have been called or emailed (if they cannot be contacted via phone).
