I waited 8 months for this repair despite the NRMA approving insurance straight away. I later found out it took 3 months to order the parts. When the parts arrived there was one part missing so this needed to be reordered.
The main issue was communication. I was lead to believe that the RV would be ready August/Sept, but no one contacted me with any information. I phoned several times and no one would get back to me and the message on the answering machine was that they were open. I went down there and no one would come out to see me (although they were there). I became quite distressed and was totally left in the dark as to what was happening.
I was contacted to say that my RV would be ready before Xmas, I called early January, they were closed until 17th January, from this date it took another week before the RV was finished.
The NRMA had notified me in November that they had paid out and closed the claim.
8 months later the RV is completed satisfactorily.
