The wood once used in Sydney's residential and commercial builds and renovations, then found in skip bins, dusty sheds or council pick-ups. The wood is cleaned, smoothed and cut to size, returned to the community to be reused lovingly in everyday life, creating an alternative use for waste wood.

Thirlmere Quality Timbers is a family owned and operated business that established in 1980 at Thirlmere NSW by Greg and Deb Hinton. Our timber is sourced from sustainable regrowth forests and we take very seriously the laws and regulations and we make sure they are complied with. After we transport our logs to Thirlmere our team then processes the timber into fencing, veranda posts, Sawn timber and basically anything our customers may be looking for.
