We are one of Queenslands leading private observatories with 28 Telescopes ranging in size from beginner to Wappas. Our shows are humorous, fun and informative to suit all ages with catering for special needs groups. Grounds are in a quiet and dark bush land setting. With over 50 years of experience in astronomy, the observatory has been open for over 31 years. We also provide a mobile show which we take on the road to schools, camps and other events. Even if there are clouds or rain, there is still tons to do. We have multiple slide shows to be amazed at. The Day time shows have plenty of things to do also. We have 7 telescopes equipped for safely viewing the sun with 6 different filtering systems. (DO NOT do this without the proper equipment) Also there are indoor shows, our meteorite collection and space walk.

River rush-Open up the throttle on our late model high performance jet skis and follow your guide for a thrilling 60k blast along the Maroochy River, reaching awesome speeds and carving white knuckle turns. As with all our tours full training is given and safety is paramount. Our river tours caters to singles, groups and families. No experience necessary. If you prefer you can combine a River Rush and Eco Tour or River and Ocean Tour for an exhilarating 80 km adventure! Ocean tour- This is the ultimate jet ski experience where you get a whole different perspective of the Sunshine Coast. Your experienced guide will teach you riding techniques and the finer points of crossing a bar and ocean riding prior to departure. We then cruise past the Maroochy River islands to the river mouth, where we cross the bar before heading up the coast to Old Woman Island stopping for a little shark spotting along the way. We then head across the bay to Point Cartwright past Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland before crossing the bar again and making our way back along the river. We regularly see sharks, dolphins, turtles, rays and schools of tuna on this tour as well as whales during their migration.

We run our tours daily departing Rainbow Beach & Noosa, QLD, Australia. Tours involve a 4wd beach adventure to the magical Double Island Point, a long sandy point break only accessible by 4wd. The area offers amazingly long easy waves to learn to surf on as well as an abundance of wildlife including dolphin pods, whales, turtles, manta rays, sting rays, soldier crabs in their thousands and many migrating and local sea birds. Double Island Point, Rainbow beach & Noosa also caters well for kitesurfing. We also run Dolphin view kayak tours. These run all year round as there is some 400+ dolphins living in the area. Chances to see dolphins on tour are high (90%) with likely chances to also see turtles, whales (june- october), manta rays, sea birds, soldier crabs in their thousands. If your a nature lover this is the tour for you. Most tours run early in the morning or late afternoon (sunset tours) as this is when marine life is at its most active. Tours run for 3hrs approx.
