Over 35 years experience as Amateur astronomers, Birdwatchers and fossickers has taught us the best ways to get you out under the night sky, in nature or rock hounding the fun and easy way. We stock products that are durable, easy to use and above all, make these hobbies (and for many people professions), able to be enjoyed with ease. Our store in the Pier Shopping Centre has a wide range of products in stock plus we also service telescopes and binoculars on site. On the fossicking front we are the Cairns Authorised distributor for quality US made Garrett detectors & accessories, including gold pans, picks, gold detectors, magnifiers & more. Keeping an eye on the sky, we are the Authorised distributors for Davis Instruments professional weather stations in FNQ. We conduct astronomy dinner tours from April until November to coincide with the dry season. Our Planetarium shows with our Mobile Planetarium are available for hire from a 1/2 day to a full week where we come to you.
