Stroud Country Club is a venue with it all. The golf course is in fantastic condition, the beer is cheap, the view from the balcony over Stroud is just sensational and the meals from the restaurant Three Birdies are outstanding. Highly recommend making it a venue to visit and stop a while.

The Gardens, which were opened to the public in 1986, are designed, developed and managed by a non-profit company of volunteers. The development of the Gardens was recognised in 1999, with the winning of the 'Significant Regional Attraction' award in the Hunter Regional Awards for Excellence in Tourism. Amazing. Beautiful scenery. There is hot water, a communal kitchen, the toilets and showers were cleaned everyday, extra port-a-loos are supplied, there's a boat ramp, pets are allowed. For $30 a night it's the best value in family camping. Can't wait to return.
