Fast forward to 2004, leading Brisbane project manager, Martin Cooper, was contracted to manage the development of the Queensland College of Wine Tourism. While building the college, he’d developed a love for the landscape, the lifestyle and the wines of the Granite Belt. During his opportunities to explore he stumbled across Emerald Hill. Martin was drawn to its natural beauty and the great promise of its wines. Seven days later the Cooper family purchased the property. We endeavour to minimise our intervention in the winemaking process, at the same time we stand by our promise to you, to create wines that have elegance and finesse.

The sides of the boat are completely enclosed so it is perfectly safe to bring children along, with full shade cover on deck. Our goal is to provide our participants with the opportunity to experience the same tranquil sensation we receive each and every time we paddle this alluring waterway. The enjoyment shown on the faces of families and friends after paddling is both personally rewarding and extremely gratifying to us.
