Camel Company is operated from Noosa's North Shore, Noosa head's, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Located 150 kilometres north of Brisbane, Queenslands' capital, Just north of the southern Gateway to the Great Sandy National Park and World Heritage Listed Fraser Island, approximately 1 hours leisurely drive along the Bruce highway. The Gayndah Museum operated by the Gayndah and District Historical Society Inc. is housed in what was the very first brick house built in Gayndah and our displays let you see what family life was like in rural Queensland during the second half of the 19th Century. We also have an extensive collection of photographs taken during the early days of Gayndah and they provide a chance to look at the way the township functioned and the people interacted with one another. Many of the photos in our collection depict life on the land when much of the hard work was done by men and horses. These rare fresh water fish are survivors from prehistoric times and our Lung Fish display has been recommended as the best display in Queensland. Not only do we have an interpretive display but we also have two live lung fish for you to see. The Museum also boasts a fine collection of various vintage vehicles, tractors, steam engines and other equipment ranging from rare trucks and tractors through to stationery steam engines from mills and even warships. Many are in operating condition and the Gayndah Museum holds regular steam days throughout the year.

We run our tours daily departing Rainbow Beach & Noosa, QLD, Australia. Tours involve a 4wd beach adventure to the magical Double Island Point, a long sandy point break only accessible by 4wd. The area offers amazingly long easy waves to learn to surf on as well as an abundance of wildlife including dolphin pods, whales, turtles, manta rays, sting rays, soldier crabs in their thousands and many migrating and local sea birds. Double Island Point, Rainbow beach & Noosa also caters well for kitesurfing. We also run Dolphin view kayak tours. These run all year round as there is some 400+ dolphins living in the area. Chances to see dolphins on tour are high (90%) with likely chances to also see turtles, whales (june- october), manta rays, sea birds, soldier crabs in their thousands. If your a nature lover this is the tour for you. Most tours run early in the morning or late afternoon (sunset tours) as this is when marine life is at its most active. Tours run for 3hrs approx.
