Featured Reviews of the Best Things To Do in Salisbury

Stroud Country Club is a venue with it all. The golf course is in fantastic condition, the beer is cheap, the view from the balcony over Stroud is just sensational and the meals from the restaurant Three Birdies are outstanding. Highly recommend making it a venue to visit and stop a while.

Came here for the scones. Very nice and freshly made. Came early to find a parking spot. Incredible views.

Fantastic breakfast with real thick cut toast 😁 along with delicious coffee. 👍

Parkview Cafe

It seemed right to test the products here since the brewery was across the road from our accommodation. The inside and outside dining areas had pleasant outlooks. Both the food menu and the tasting paddle were very good and had an extensive range of choices.

We had the most wonderful time sampling some interesting wines with a very gracious and knowledgeable host at Stomp Wines in Broke. The atmosphere was very relaxing and comfortable. The environment was very appealing. It was a great way to be introduced to a variety of good wines.

We are from Glen Martin and we needed to get away for a few days. What a great place this is to camp, with friendly staff and nice people. We will be coming back very soon to have another good time. Thank you for having such a great park.

Lake Liddell Recreational Area

Treated myself and family for my 40th and wasn't disappointed. Bleary eyed by the early morning wake up, but seeing the balloons take shape we couldn't wait to take off. My children aged 13 and 9 had a fabulous time. Staff were warm, friendly and funny. Beautiful area to see from the sky.

Beyond Ballooning

Amazing. Beautiful scenery. There is hot water, a communal kitchen, the toilets and showers were cleaned everyday, extra port-a-loos are supplied, there's a boat ramp, pets are allowed. For $30 a night it's the best value in family camping. Can't wait to return.

Australian Army Infantry Museum in Singleton has well laid out displays covering the various wars, soldiers, uniforms and weapons and detailed histories of the various battles. There are numerous photographs and an excellent video covering the history of infantry training.

This place was perfect for the night. We booked two days before and it was a popular destination for the time of year but they worked everything out and were so lovely. Not only that, our car broke down, and they helped us fix it so we were able to drive to Maitland.
