The Village has been designed to collect, preserve, restore, interpret and exhibit artefacts that relate to the history, heritage and culture of the regional area. The Museum, Heritage Village and coffee shop are open Friday, Saturday and Sundays 10 am - 4 pm and other times by appointment.

While caravan parks usually have designated areas for tent sites, Scone Caravan Park also offers ensuite and air-conditioned units and two-bedroom cabins with showers, toilets and washing machines for those who are not comfortable staying at our tent sites. We also have on-site vans available for your use. During the day, you can stroll around our beautiful park and enjoy the view, while at night you can make use of our BBQ sites and hang out with friends and family. If you are bringing along your pet, let our management know so we can arrange our van and tent sites to be pet-friendly. Our administration is also available should you need anything on our tent sites, or anywhere else in the caravan park. The Railway Journeys Museum actively conserves and exhibits railway memorabilia from electric staff instruments to miniature trains in an interactive manner for visitors to experience.
