From the barnstorming days of the country's oldest regional aero club, through the WW2 RAAF flying training school and a top-secret British bomber squadron, to the post-war Qantas and gliding eras. The uniquely designed museum building, with its roof reminiscent of an airfoil, is the result of some 6,000 hours of voluntary labour by Narromine Aero Club members and others. It was excellent to talk to the staff. My friends that motorbiked say it is great, but I have never done it before. This place is great if you like horseriding. They also cater from beginners to experienced riders.

Retreat Homestead is beautiful and tastefully furnished with everything you need. The property is beautiful with plenty of walking trails to explore. We are three couples who annually make trips to different wine regions for long weekends. This homestead by far, is the best stay we have had in eight years.
