From the barnstorming days of the country's oldest regional aero club, through the WW2 RAAF flying training school and a top-secret British bomber squadron, to the post-war Qantas and gliding eras. The uniquely designed museum building, with its roof reminiscent of an airfoil, is the result of some 6,000 hours of voluntary labour by Narromine Aero Club members and others. You can't fault the service at James Estate. The member of staff assisting in our tasting was more than friendly and was knowledgeable and helpful. James Estate was the absolute highlight of our Hunter Valley wine tasting tour. Cheers!

Sandy Hollow Tourist Park is an absolutely magnificent venue. The setting is beautiful—plenty of nice grassy areas to spread out, and the camp kitchen area was superb. Hosts are brilliant.

You'll need a couple of hours to view everything. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but my mates and I enjoyed the history and displays.
