Carol says this wonderful museum is a must-see when in Tamworth. There are videos showing how Werris Creek played such an important part of the history of Australia. People who are interested in it and the Australian Railways should visit this place. Carol says she's very interested in this museum since she's an Australian who lives abroad. She wants to see how much the Werris Creek township played such a vital part of the history and this site should be promoted more. Carol says they've got wonderful volunteers too.

Parkview Cafe

It seemed right to test the products here since the brewery was across the road from our accommodation. The inside and outside dining areas had pleasant outlooks. Both the food menu and the tasting paddle were very good and had an extensive range of choices.

Sandy Hollow Tourist Park is an absolutely magnificent venue. The setting is beautiful—plenty of nice grassy areas to spread out, and the camp kitchen area was superb. Hosts are brilliant.

We are from Glen Martin and we needed to get away for a few days. What a great place this is to camp, with friendly staff and nice people. We will be coming back very soon to have another good time. Thank you for having such a great park.

Treated myself and family for my 40th and wasn't disappointed. Bleary eyed by the early morning wake up, but seeing the balloons take shape we couldn't wait to take off. My children aged 13 and 9 had a fabulous time. Staff were warm, friendly and funny. Beautiful area to see from the sky.

You can't fault the service at James Estate. The member of staff assisting in our tasting was more than friendly and was knowledgeable and helpful. James Estate was the absolute highlight of our Hunter Valley wine tasting tour. Cheers!

We had our two dogs in the cabin provided they slept in the laundry, no problems. The cottage was spotless and had everything for a self-contained holiday. The manager was friendly and helpful. Although located on the highway it was not too noisy. Pleasant stay and great value for money.

Retreat Homestead is beautiful and tastefully furnished with everything you need. The property is beautiful with plenty of walking trails to explore. We are three couples who annually make trips to different wine regions for long weekends. This homestead by far, is the best stay we have had in eight years.

Our stay at Elysium Vineyard was lovely and our host was so approachable! We enjoyed the best of Hunter Valley weather. Homey and warm, it was the perfect getaway weekend with my closest and dearest, and we will not hesitate to recommend the cosy, self-sufficient cottage in which we stayed.

Elisium Vineyard

Amazing. Beautiful scenery. There is hot water, a communal kitchen, the toilets and showers were cleaned everyday, extra port-a-loos are supplied, there's a boat ramp, pets are allowed. For $30 a night it's the best value in family camping. Can't wait to return.
