FTRC is a non-profit organisation run by passionate volunteers, dedicated to healing sick and injured turtles. Our talks, held from Tuesday to Sunday at 1.00pm and 1.45pm, offer fascinating insights into these incredible creatures. Honey House Kuranda was established in 1959 to showcase the amazing floral range of honeys produced in Far North Queensland. Almost 60 years later, we continue to support local beekeepers. Honey House manage 6 apiary sites in the Kuranda district and offer information services for beginner and hobbyist beekeepers. All our honeys are 100% raw - just as the bees intended and full of health boosting properties. We also stock a great range of medicinal hive products, including propolis, Australian Manuka (Jellybush), Royal Jelly and pollen.
