Wedged between lush rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, paddling up the coast of Munmudanamy allows us to take in the jaw dropping landscapes, diverse plant and animal life, and some of the best swimming holes in the country. The Cardwell Post Office & Telegraph Station, built in 1870, is one of the oldest buildingds in North Queensland. The building has been entered on the Queensland Heritage Register, the Register of the Nation Trust & the Register of the National Estate of the Australian Heritage Commission.
