Discover the exciting story of flight as it unfolded at one of Australia's truly historic aerodromes. From the barnstorming days of the country's oldest regional aero club, through the WW2 RAAF flying training school and a top-secret British bomber squadron, to the post-war Qantas and gliding eras. The uniquely designed museum building, with its roof reminiscent of an airfoil, is the result of some 6,000 hours of voluntary labour by Narromine Aero Club members and others. Sandy Hollow Tourist Park is an absolutely magnificent venue. The setting is beautiful—plenty of nice grassy areas to spread out, and the camp kitchen area was superb. Hosts are brilliant.

Retreat Homestead is beautiful and tastefully furnished with everything you need. The property is beautiful with plenty of walking trails to explore. We are three couples who annually make trips to different wine regions for long weekends. This homestead by far, is the best stay we have had in eight years.

Our stay at Elysium Vineyard was lovely and our host was so approachable! We enjoyed the best of Hunter Valley weather. Homey and warm, it was the perfect getaway weekend with my closest and dearest, and we will not hesitate to recommend the cosy, self-sufficient cottage in which we stayed.

Treated myself and family for my 40th and wasn't disappointed. Bleary eyed by the early morning wake up, but seeing the balloons take shape we couldn't wait to take off. My children aged 13 and 9 had a fabulous time. Staff were warm, friendly and funny. Beautiful area to see from the sky.

It was excellent to talk to the staff. My friends that motorbiked say it is great, but I have never done it before. This place is great if you like horseriding. They also cater from beginners to experienced riders.
