The BEST Things To Do in Breddan QLD

The Collinsville Connect Teleconnect forwarded my request for information about my grandfather, a miner who passed away in 1926 at Collinsville, to Jeanette Poole. Jeanette responded using her strong local knowledge and photos that brought me much joy and broadened my knowledge about my early family struggling through a difficult period in a new country. Thank you Jeanette.

Im a local and this is the best pub I've come to

I went to the Herberton Mining Museum on the recommendation of the Herberton Historic Village. Whilst it is a great display - I tried toask the two older gentlemen questions as my family had been working on the tin mines there so I keen to find out more info. They were indifferent and more interested in listening to music or something on their phones and TV - it was really disappointing after attending the informative historic village. I do realise these are volunteer positions.

perfect place for a nice dinner. We had their $10.00 roast and it was OK for the price.
