I had caught glimpses of the Fire Museum in Coolamon on previous visits, but it wasn't until today that I finally stepped through its doors. And let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away! The experience was nothing short of phenomenal, thanks in large part to the incredible wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm exhibited by Chris, the owner. It was an absolute delight listening to him share captivating stories that accompanied each piece of memorabilia. What made my visit even more remarkable was discovering that Chris dedicates his time and expertise to the museum as a passionate hobby. The entire operation runs practically on donations, which is truly heartwarming to hear. It's evident that this is a labor of love for Chris, and his dedication shines through in every aspect of the museum. Located on private property which is only 10 minutes from the middle of Echuca Moama you can pull up right at the top of the walkway and load straight onto your houseboat, then leave your car in our free onsite parking along with your caravan, trailer, jet ski, ski boat and whatever else you bring. You will have exclusive use of the private boat ramp to launch your ski boat, fishing tinny and jet ski which is just meters from your houseboat making the whole process hassle free and easy. One of our key focuses is looking after our customers before and during their holiday with our staff on hand to assist in any way 24/7 to make sure that your holiday is stress free and fun.
