About
Sarina Sugar Shed provides tourists with an insight on how Australia's sugar mills work. We provide daily tours of our sugar mill and distillery where visitors can see the process of sugar making. We have designed our tour in a way that will allow our visitors to experience sugar cane farming through the sense of touch, smell and taste. We are open 7 days a week throughout the year. Tour our facility and get to taste some of our products including marinades, coffee, liqueurs and gourmet sauces. Kids and adults who partake in our tour also enjoy our sweet fairy floss and our fudge and ice cream! To remind you of your Sarina Sugar Shed tour, visit our gift shop where you can purchase a variety of goods, such as sweets, vinegar, jams, sauces and other gift items to take home with you. So, if you want to immerse yourself in local culture and see how sugar is made, visit Sarina Sugar Shed where you can 'Take the Tour - Taste the Action.'

The Collinsville Connect Teleconnect forwarded my request for information about my grandfather, a miner who passed away in 1926 at Collinsville, to Jeanette Poole. Jeanette responded using her strong local knowledge and photos that brought me much joy and broadened my knowledge about my early family struggling through a difficult period in a new country. Thank you Jeanette.

Visitors can get lunch here if they need to and there are a lot of picnic tables where they can enjoy. They have a variety of souvenirs on display that can be bought. They also have a lot of brochures and pamphlets that can help you plan your trips and your stay here.
