Simon has a good and solid boat that rides really well and he helped us untangle lines while listening to our banter. Me and my workmates went out for the day and we went home with a good haul thanks to Simon! He really earned his pay!

The staff at Discount Tours at Yorkeys Knob Beach were all so very helpful. As a backpacker I wanted to find out which attractions I could see for free so I came here. They provided me with free maps and recommendations on all the things I should do in Cairns based off my interests. The staff answered all my questions very thoroughly and even provided more recommendations for things I didn't even think of. Def 10/10 would recommend Cairns Discount Tours at Yorkeys knob.

I did get a response, although I was offered a good deal, unfortunately I am unable to accept for personal reasons.

Way back in March 2026, visited Yorkeys Knob having arrived abord Queen Mary 2, I went wandering on my own and came across Peter at the TIC. He was very friendly and helpful with directions to the beach I was looking for. I was also very impressed with the information available and the display of local items of art that were for sale. Well worth a visit.

Excellent experience for me. Easy, efficient and focussed on the best outcome for me. Loved my trip to the Daintree and out to the Tablelands then back over the twisty ranges
