Bundaberg's first railway station, built in 1881 as an outlet for the Mt Perry railway bringing copper from the mines, is now preserved as a railway museum. Located some 500 metres from its original site, the museum houses a wide variety of railway items past and present.

Flying High Bird Park is one of Queenslands great family tourist attractions, located just North of Childers on the Bruce Highway. Flying High Bird Park offers a haven for thousands of both exotic and Australian native birds. Make friends with lots of our feathered residents which are keen to be in a selfie with you. At Flying High Bird Park you have that up close and personal experience with lots of colourful birds as you wonder through the gardens of this 6.5 acre bird park. At Flying High Bird Park, we are working hard to ensure that our wildlife will be around for generations. We have a very successful breeding program for many of our native animals. Many of our Australian birds have declined to very low numbers and are now rarely seen. Our native birds spend a lot of time feeding on the ground where feral cats and foxes can easily catch them to eat. Also habitat loss is not only the trees or grasses for nesting, but in some cases their complete food source disappears. By visiting Flying High Bird Park you are helping us to continue our wildlife conservation.

Marianne Lethbridge and Edward Murray took up the development of this vineyard on 12 October, 2007. In three short years they have transformed a small hobby farm into a recognized tourist destination. There is a myriad of activities available to visitors; starting with award - winning wines of excellence and a manicured six acre working vineyard and including an elegant tasting room incorporating art and sculpture, an attractive al fresco eatery, gift and gourmet gallery, heritage play area, heirloom herb and vegetable gardens, animal patting farm and a sculpture walk. Planted in 2000, this organic vineyard nestles between the gentle slopes of the fertile and productive valleys of the Isis fruit growing area. The verdant surroundings and pleasant climate give rise to a place of peace and restful beauty where several varieties of red and white grapes are grown along with tranquil gardens and a mixed fruit orchard. The property lies only two minutes from the Bruce Highway along the North Isis Road and is very clearly signposted along a quality bitumen road. The work is on-going and the owners and their well-trained staff work tirelessly on the property creating a unique wine - growing and tourism destination. Their wines are medal winners and so well regarded that they are now very much sought after.

Childers Arts Space (CHARTS) features exhibitions from both local and visiting artists nationally, locally and internationally. The art gallery is situated upstairs alongside the Palace Memorial.
