Every year we step into hundreds of homes across the city, yet in Canberra there are still so many people living without acceptable, permanent or safe shelter. Whilst we commit our resources to many charities throughout the year, our in-house program ‘Without a Roof’ focuses on supporting members of our community who do not have a place to call home.

Hi, my name is Jenny Jordan and I started A1 Pest Control Canberra in 2012 after already living in the area since 1982. I am fiercely proud that my business is solely an Australian-owned business and that I absolutely love the Canberra community. Before coming to Canberra, I was affiliated with A1 Pest Control in Sydney which has been in operation for 30 plus years, and thought that the same business model would work in the national capital as there was a lack of customer service based pest control companies in the area. Once the company got started, word of mouth spread and our team were able to expand our services beyond Canberra to areas that were not previously serviced by pest control. Since the humble beginnings, there has been tremendous growth enabling us to acquire other smaller sized pest control businesses and leveraged the company to service areas including Yass, Murrumbateman, Bungendore and Braidwood along with Queanbeyan and surrounding areas. I am extremely proud of the team that I have built, as they are highly professional pest technicians who are termite and general pest experts. For me, I continue to build rapport with businesses owners, commercial operators and domestic property owners and use old-fashioned customer service that gives us repeat business all the time. I coach and mentor other pest control companies and often speak to groups of interested business owners who want to grow their businesses.
