Booked a wheelchair vehicle last Thursday for my 96 year old Mum to go to the denture clinic. Vehicle did not turn up. I rang four times over the 45 mins waiting time. First time I was told one was on the way. 2nd and third time I was cut off. Fourth time I cancelled it and got an Uber which came in 7 mins!. My Mum was very distressed because we had to use her wheelie walker instead which was so difficult for her. Fortunately the denture clinic was very obliging and saw her even though we were very late! As far as I’m concerned this is really bad business. Even if they rang me and said they were having trouble finding a vehicle for us I would have said send a standard vehicle but to leave us completely stranded is just not good enough.
