Gary says their coffee is very good and the burger has to be one of the best he's ever had. Amber Rose opens at 4:30 am. The cafe is very pleasant and you can sit and look around at some of the antiques and memorabilia. The service is excellent, too. They were very friendly and pleasant.

Unlike many others that seem to be forced to undergo total reincarnation in the name of progress, this pub offers all the amenities you would expect without going over the top. There is plenty of space in each of the various areas of the hotel—be it dining lounge/s, beer garden/outside dining, bar, TAB and more. The menu is terrific, beer and other choices are many and varied, and staff friendly and welcoming. A great place to enjoy a quiet drink, meet with friends or take the family. The hotel maintains a down to earth, "local" feel about it, which is increasingly rare and makes it a great pub.

Katie says she would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy well-priced sushi. They've got a great choice of sushi rolls filled with fillings, plus they don't fall apart when eating them. Katie says nothing beats their large servings. The rolls are well-made and very plump. Good food. Great service.
