Nestled in a sleepy little side street is the Valleys Hidden Gem. Family owned since 1977, the Pioneer Valley Hotel is a pub with a touch of old fashioned country charm in a relatively new exterior. The original Hotel was built in 1910, formerly known as ‘The Coronation'. The Hotel was located on Jim Moule St due to the transportation of that era, eg Rail Motors. During the Sugar Cane season you can relax on the Hotels verandah with a cold drink and watch the Loco's go by. Our venue is available for Function Hire, with Weddings, Birthday Parties, Meetings & Hen/Buck's nights being a specialty. “I have never been here before and was so suprised how lovely this place is. I called in with my husband and kids for lunch and was suprised at how big the back area was. Had a beautiful lunch and the kids had a ball playing. Friendly staff and great food. Will definately be returning.”

“Just had the best Fish & Chips that I can ever remember.. Asked for the chiko roll to be extra crispy - delivered Red Emperor fish was restaurant quality and the guys threw in some “extra stuff” for no reason. Music playing, girls behind the counter singing... Was just fun.. Cheers Scott”

“I will come again to try their other flavours! I got their gourmet satay chicken pizza. Its base was really thick with heaps of cheese and sour cream. Yum! The best part was the chicken pieces of big juicy chunks with a wee bit of fatty bits.”
