Our School has served the community of East Maitland for over 150 years. We enjoy a proud tradition of providing quality teaching and learning programs for all students through a diverse and challenging curriculum. We offer an inclusive education for all with three classes in our Support Unit catering for students with a range of special learning needs. Millfield Public School is a small school situated in a picturesque rural setting, 12 kilometres west of Cessnock. The school provides quality educational programs within a positive, yet challenging framework. There is a strong emphasis on the development of students' literacy and numeracy skills. Student welfare is central to all school programs. Parents and community work in close partnership with the school to resource and maintain an ideal environment for learning.
