Pomona State School is situated near Mount Cooroora in the Noosa hinterland. Our school is an integral part of the local Pomona community - maintaining a rural school atmosphere, while providing a wide range of modern facilities and resources. We are proud to offer a holistic, quality education for all students. As our school population has expanded rapidly in recent years, the Education Department has put an Enrolment Management Plan in place, which geographically defines a catchment area for all future enrolments. Approximately 300 students are currently enrolled in our Prep to Year 6 classes.

Amamoor State School is a great school. It's a place where learning is active, supportive and interesting. Our school currently has three multi-age co-educational classes with an enrolment of approximately 72 students. As with small rural communities this enrolment can fluctuate during the course of the school year. The staff and the P&C are unified in our desire and dedication to making the school surroundings as safe, healthy, attractive and learning friendly as possible. We offer all the essential learning areas in keeping with the 'Smart State' philosopy and Department of Education, Training & The Arts (EQ) syllabus directions. Our curriculum programmes, staff and community provide a quality values basis education and a tolerant, disciplined safe environment for all students to undertake their school based learning. Amamoor State School is well staffed to deliver essential basics as well as up to date technologies, ensuring that our students are well prepared for a diversity of employment futures in a networked and culturally diverse society.

Yandina State School is a growing school of approximately 350 students located on School Road, Yandina. The school prides itself on over 135 years of education and community involvement. Our staff are highly skilled, experienced and dedicated to making a positive difference to the students' academic learning, physical and emotional wellbeing and social emotional growth. Yandina State School creates a safe, supportive school environment through the application of the school wide positive behaviour program based on our school rules 'I am safe', 'I am respectful' and 'I am a learner'. Yandina State School is part of the North Coast Region and is a co-educational facility catering for students from Prep Year to Year 6. Class organisation comprises mainly of single-age (straight) year levels and a small number of composite classrooms. In 2023 students are allocated across 15 classes.
