For the first 20 years of her career, she worked as a construction lawyer on major projects of up to $500 million specializing in legal document drafting, workplace education, negotiation and settlement. She uses the extensive skillset developed on major projects to provide community family law education and assist clients settle sensibly and get out of court. Leila holds a current principal's practising certificate and is a registered practitioner of the High Court.
