Thanks Dave for the excellent job your boys did insulating my ceiling, my house is so much cooler. I was also surprised at how inexpensive it was to insulate.

Dave installed two skylights in our kitchen which used to be a dark and dim area that relied on using ceiling lights even during the day. We are totally amazed with the amount of natural light in the kitchen now. From first contact to request a quote, right through to installation, Dave was punctual, reliable and super efficient. Dave installed the skylights himself in next to no time. The end result was far beyond our expectations and we are 100% satisfied. Thanks Dave. We’ll be back for more!

Efficient, Service Cant be beaten, costs clearly explained. TCP turn up when they say they will. In fact they were about 15 minutes early and waiting for us ! Job completed fast and did a great job. "J C" told us exactly what was done - clearly explained. Young Lady in the office was super efficient and lovely personality. They are coming to do a job tomorrow at our home. We have no hesitation in recommending this company as THE best plumber we have ever dealt with.

A big shout out to Cookie and Tropical Coast Plumbing. My wife and I Manage Happyland Chinese in Moranbah. We had trouble with one of our gas appliances. After a early morning phone call we had the pleasure of meeting JORDAN at the restaurant. In no time at all he had the appliance up and running. Great work, great service. Now our cooks are very happy 😊. Good on you Tropical Coast Plumbing.

Josh and Zeke were a pleasure to do business with. They kept me up to date with when they would arrive. Fixed both of my leaking toilets and unblocked a drain that wasn't booked in. Highly recommended Josh and the team.

Thank you so much. What a stressful situation finding someone for the job, but as soon as I found the team at Tropical Coast my life was made easier. Dealt with the real estate agents, worked with my tenants and did a tip top job on the repairs. Couldn't be happier

Need a solar hot water system?

You'd be hard-pressed to find a place sunnier than good ol' Mackay. So, it's crystal clear why solar hot water systems are gaining popularity in this Australian city. Picture this: Catching rays of sunshine, and cleverly transforming them into hot showers for your home. Sounds amazing right?

Well my mates, that's exactly how a solar hot water system works! Let's take an enlightening little journey together to comprehend this dazzling process.

Firstly, panels mounted on your rooftop drink in the glorious Mackay sun. These solar collectors aren't just tanning—they're busily absorbing the sun’s energy. It gets juicier with the addition of water tubes running within these panels; they carry cold water which is heated naturally by this absorbed energy—a cool road-taking shower before it even hits your taps!

Now here comes the twist: This system incorporates something called a "heat exchanger." Think of it as our superhero in disguise; just another component, until it steps up when things get sunny – which they do quite often in Mackay I must say!

The friendly neighbourhood heat exchanger takes over transferring heat from solar-heated water, sharing its warmth with unheated stored water. Voila! You've got yourself an ample supply of fresh hot water whenever you please – no sun required at that very instance.

But what about grey days or after sunset? Enter the backup electric or gas booster: ready to step up if the sun lets us down or if demand surges unexpectedly—never fear a cold shower again!

Solar hot water systems are like Mother Nature's trusty helpers pitched in right at your yard; they ensure a hot bath whenever you fancy one and simultaneously reduce carbon footprints—a double whammy if there ever was one!

Just imagine saving hundreds off your annual utility bills while basking guilt-free under those sparkling hot showers—quite brilliant, isn't it? That folks, in roughly 300 words, is how solar hot water makes life just so much more delightful in sunny Mackay.
