To be honest, not even one star!... The callout fee is $130, to fix a leaking tap washer.. I was happy to pay that since it was the weekend. I was expecting he would charge about $80 to replace the washer, total $210, even $250 tops. But Jim's Plumber DO NOT CHANGE TAP WASHERS!!.. They will give a quote to replace both taps and all parts. $630.. Total, $760.. If it was easy for me to turn the mains water off, I would try to do it myself.. So many YouTube vids on how to do it.. You do not need to be a plumber to change a tap washer.. We live and learn. We have learnt to avoid Jim's Plumbing at all cost, and enacting associated with Jim's.. By the way.. Sorry, this is Ipswich. We could not find a review site for our area. But it seems Jim's Plumbers are the same EVERYWHERE!! So be warned..!!
We finally found a good, reliable solar company after many failed attempts. Dealing with them was great, from the first contact with the sales person, Mia to the installers, Gareth and Julian. It was a very pleasant experience and the price was right too.
I had the pleasure of Whywait Plumbing doing a job for me not long ago. I had Marshall arrive within 2 hours of my phone call which was excellent. I informed staff of what they were likely to need to have on board. Staff were very informative on when they where likely to arrive. Both workers who came assessed the issue and rectified it promptly and professionally. Price was reasonable. Problem solved and we quickly moved forwards.
