The Reject Shop Taree first opened its doors in 1981 when founders Ron Hall and John Shuster set up shop in the Melbourne suburb of South Yarra. Almost 40 years later, The Reject Shop Taree is a household name with more than 370 locations nationwide, known for providing great value on everyday items. As the next chapter of our story unfolds, we will continue to focus on helping all Australians save money every day. The Reject Shop Taree also ranges high-quality private brands and sells products from some Australia’s most trusted brands including Cadbury, Tresemmé, Tontine, Nivea, Pepsi, Finish, Omo, Uncle Tobys and more, but all with our single purpose in mind…to help all Australian’s save money.

We love Australia, and we love being Australian. That’s why 96% of the fresh fruit & veg we sell comes from Australia, grown by true-blue farmers right across the country. 100% of our fresh meat comes from here, too. This love has led us to get involved with lots of different communities all over the country, in lots of different ways. But it’s a big country, and hearing everyone’s voice isn't always easy.
