The pristine waters of the Whitsundays is home to FISHI, 'Fresh Island Seafood', our processing facility and retail shop is located in Cannonvale, Airlie Beach which allows us to service the Islands and surrounding areas. We are an Australian owned and operated family run business. We started our business in 2013 with a simple aim, to supply our customers with the freshest seafood while respecting the environment. Our office is surrounded by the warm, clear blue waters of the Whitsundays, teeming with a huge variety of fish species unique to North Queensland Waters. We are custodians of the water we fish and support sustainable fishing as the forefront of our business. We have branded our local produce as ‘Whitsunday Wild' and it is our guarantee to our customers that these products are locally sourced in a sustainable way ensuring the continuity of quality we have built for our FISHI customers. We stock a wide range of seafood, and for products that are not available to us locally we source the finest from other Australian regions. We hope you will enjoy our fresh seafood as much as we do! Best freshest seafood shop ever! We returned to Airlie just to shop here! All sorts of seafood goodies as well as the fresh seafood. Scallop pies, seafood pizzas, chowders, sauces etc etc. And great service.

The rooms were very clean and well presented. They have air conditioning and undercover parking. It was refreshing to walk in and see the kitchenette. The bed was very comfy and the room was spacious with a decent size dining table. They are great value for the age.

The Malpass Hotel, in the centre of Home Hill, provides four-star backpacker accommodation in four-share rooms at affordable rates. As the Burdekin is one of the most productive farming areas in Australia, there is an abundance of seasonal work available from fruit and vegetable picking, packing in sheds, general farm work, and bar work. Transport to and from jobs is available for guests at the Malpass Hotel. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a fridge provided. Linen is also provided, and cooking facilities are available, along with an ATM and EFTPOS.

Their bartender Tamika was very helpful and patient. We passed through last week and decided to stop in at Malpass Hotel for a bite to eat. They have very friendly staff and great value meals.
