Since 1958, the Mortel family have been making sheepskin products. You can now visit Mortels purpose built facility for a fully guided factory tour. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of a fully operational manufacturing plant. Watch and learn how their famous UGG boots are made. The tour finishes in store where the very product you have watched being made can be purchased. In addition to the tour you can enjoy coffee, sweets or lunch by their award winning chef at the Café and Gift Gallery and complete your visit by stepping into The Sheep's Back Museum to enjoy the history of the UGG boot and culturally significant stories through the history of sheepskin manufacturing and wool raising throughout Australia.

“My wife and I decided to go and have a look at the shop. We travelled from Old Bar about 160km and were absolutely amazed by how helpful the staff were and the choice of Uggs available that we ended up buying a pair of boots each and we only went for a possible purchase of a pair of slippers for the wife. We also had a meal and drinks in the cafe which was well worth the value. Even the boss was working on a Sunday and went into the factory and found a pair of boots for me which had only just come off the Production line.Thank you Mortels”
