About
Whether you want to give your family an unforgettable hotel experience, or you are looking for an awesome night out with your mates, be sure to head for the Fed. For over a century, the Federal Hotel in Alstonville has been lauded among tourists and locals alike for fantastic service. Although we have undergone many changes over the decades, our distinct character and reputation for excellence remains unchanged. If you are looking for a restaurant and pub in Alstonville and the Lismore region that serves all major beer and spirit brands, the Federal Hotel is the place to go. As a locally owned business, we pride ourselves on showcasing the best the region has to offer while also bringing the city to our town. At the Federal Hotel, we serve delicious bistro meals using only the freshest and finest Australian produce. Though diners can expect quality pub-grub, our chefs specialise in adding modern twists to their culinary creations. Among our meal selections are mouth-watering burgers, healthy salads, char grilled steaks, beer battered flathead, vegetarian options, and much more. We also serve Sunday breakfasts, while our lunch and dinner menu can be enjoyed all week. Our chefs are the proud recipients of the Schooner Good Food Guide award. Enjoy a frosty beverage in the cool confines of the Federal Hotel's beer garden and outdoor alfresco. We serve a range of fine wines including Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc, Redback The Long Paddock Chardonnay, Four Sisters Merlot and Broken Wood Shiraz. It almost goes without saying that we offer the coldest beer in town. Our tavern is family friendly, and we offer a wide range of soft drink options for the kids. The next time you are in the Northern Rivers area and want to enjoy a scrumptious meal in a historical location, be sure to visit the Feddy', Alstonville's famous Federal Hotel.

About
We love Australia, and we love being Australian. That’s why 96% of the fresh fruit & veg we sell comes from Australia, grown by true-blue farmers right across the country. 100% of our fresh meat comes from here, too. This love has led us to get involved with lots of different communities all over the country, in lots of different ways. But it’s a big country, and hearing everyone’s voice isn't always easy. That’s where this page comes in, because it’s the perfect place to stay in touch with us and everyone else in our community. Share your ideas, tell us what you like, and let us know what you think we could do better. Plus, we’ll keep you up to date with heaps of handy news, offers, competitions and more. This is a shared place, and we want everyone to enjoy it. Just like our stores, it’s a family environment with people of all ages, so please keep that in mind, be respectful of others, and don’t post things that aren't in the right spirit – nothing rude or offensive.

About
Guzman y Gomez was founded in Sydney in 2006 by New Yorkers and childhood best friends Steven Marks and Robert Hazan. Steven, a former hedge fund manager, and Robert, who had a background in fashion wholesale and retail, both missed the authentic fresh flavours of Mexican cuisine that they had grown up with in America. After realising that there was a genuine gap in the Australian market for fresh, clean Mexican food, they decided to create their own restaurant named Guzman y Gomez to honour their childhood friends. Steven and Robert had a vision to build a restaurant business that had the speed and convenience of fast food but to re-invent the fast food category by serving high-quality food. They then set about ensuring the brand was authentic to its core and established GYG’s values which remain today. Every detail in establishing the brand was thought out. The brand’s main colours were developed as well as the bespoke GYG font in the logo (look carefully and you will see the GYG font is made of sticky tape to represent the amazing street art of Mexico).

hello. i love the food at your Restaurant. but as i been sitting at the tables. i see the palms in the large pots needing some water. i not sure who should take care of the plants. As a gardener. . i notice things like this. plants stressing. they are beautiful Lady palms in the pots and would be a shame to see them all dry out. im a keen gardener. and i see there is 3 things the palms need. obviously plenty water. but under cover like they are obviously not get rain water. water is what they need. and also fertilizer and the 3rd thing is a product called a soil wetter. when soils get over dry. it repels any water . its a fine waxing coating on the soil particles that prevents the soil from absorbing water. easy fixed. Soil wetta product breaks that waxing and allows the soil to absorb. it looks like 1 box there is too far gone. and i see the top box palms starting to stress. So i not sure who should take care of the palms. but some advice.

I had to buy a chocolate cake, with a candle delivered to my dad in a nursing home in Byron. "No worries" was what they said to me, from beginning to end. Dad won't remember it, but I will.
