We moved into our home on 15/4/2015. Choices at Port Macquarie supplied and laid the bamboo floor throughout the house. On the 25/11/2015, our bamboo floor buckled and tented. It was through our main bedroom and the living area. The floor installer came on 2/12/2015 to inspect the floor. He wrote a report blaming the problem on us for overmopping the floor, even though we mopped the floor once every 3 weeks and towel dried it Perry Homes refused to help as they had the report from the installer. The tenting initially was 3.5cm but grew to 6.5mm. It was a trip hazard. On 24/2/2016 a rep from Premium Flooring inspected the bamboo floor. Boards were removed so the floor would lay down flat. The skirting boards were removed and the floor had been laid with only a 4mm gap instead of a 10mm gap. The plasterboard hadn't been undercut, the skirting boards were only 12mm instead of 19mm and the bamboo board grew double. The bamboo was removed and replaced with oak on 22/6/2016.
