Tallwoods is located on the Mid North Coast a 3.5 hour drive north of Sydney. We have 15 new, superbly furnished, bungalows which are the perfect base for an escape to the spectacular Great Lakes region. The Great Lakes region also unfurls beautiful beaches ideal for swimming, surfing and fishing. Scuba diving is great in this area, as well as dolphin and whale watching cruises. Tallwoods Country Club is the home to Belcanto's Restaurant which is perfect for casual dining anytime of the day. With a relaxed, informal atmosphere and a passionate team, they create a unique food experience that you’ll love. I just got in my car to check who the owner is so I could warn them that things are not good. I’ve been going here once or twice a week for a decade. Last few times there has been 1. No hot food at all, 2. A long queue to even pay for gas, 3, again today no food Perhaps they are just understaffed. I really wish they would improve so I could go again. Where are all the lovely older experienced people who used to work here. The young staff are doing their best. But today the grill doesn’t work. Time before the till. Time before nothing worked at all so no hot food at all. It’s sad they have to work in these conditions. Just read online that Caltex took over th e management. Have to say it shows. Have given 3 stars just for the three young staff doing their best today and being polite

Lunch was one of the best lunch’s, soft creamy cooked to perfection salmon, sweet potato crunchy chips and fresh salad 🥗. Roadies chicken burger was a big burger full of flavour juice chicken with all the trimmings. Hubby said best burger he’s eaten. Service was friendly service, staff made sure our ordered came out with coffee at the end as requested. Will come back again thank you 🙏 🌻😊

We stayed here for 3 nights to ride the twisty roads. We won the meat raffle Friday night and the pub supplied a BBQ where we cooked a few meals near the motel units where we stayed. Very reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly. Excellent weekend. We Would definitely do that again!

Roadies Cafe
We stayed here for 3 nights to ride the twisty roads. We won the meat raffle Friday night and the pub supplied a BBQ where we cooked a few meals near the motel units where we stayed. Very reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly. Excellent weekend. We Would definitely do that again!

Really enjoyed staying here. Very friendly staff, good selection of beer and the food was fresh and delicious. Absolutely loved the John Murray paintings on the walls. Will definitely be back!

Cosy but spacious and extremely clean. The waitress provide a great service with a smile. Food is absolutely delicious, especially the Sweet Chili Chicken. WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING SOON!!
