Arranged MiniMovers 3 weeks before our shift and given a time between 1130am - 130pm We checked time with them on day of shift - told ETA be nearer 130pm At 1.03pm Dan, Fleet Control at Mini Movers left a message that they were overbooked, cancelling and won’t be turning up. Totally left with no remover on afternoon of our shift with new occupants moving in next morning. Spoke to Dan and he couldn’t care- stating they were overbooked ( yet had given a time in the morning) Unreliable firm, left customer in lurch, couldn’t care - would not recommend Mini Movers to anyone!!
G-man, Tim & Josh moved me on the weekend. I couldn't be happier. They guys were friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for me. They moved some of the things already in the house to the garage, hooked up the washing machine and put my desk back together. This is my 3rd move in 3 months BUT definitely the easiest and best! Do yourself a favour and forget the rest.. If I could give you more than 5 stars - I would... :0)
We had Mike and his team move some large appliances, tables, a bed and a couch for us a few weekends ago. It was going from one apartment building to another on the same lot. They were super fast and did absolutely no damage to any of our goods or the walls.
Another removalist company moving someone else actually got them to help them with some larger items as their equipment allowed them to do it with ease.
Did every dodgy trick in the removalist's songbook. Smaller truck than negotiated, fewer helpers, damaged items (no responsibility taken) renegotiated removal of certain items on the day to get extra $$$$. Avoid!
I booked a small job with this company. At the time, the office girl gave me quote for 3.5 hours at $119.00 per hour plus a flat fee of $65. The job was to move a very small 2-bedroom unit into a 4-bedroom house. So there were only 2 bedroom sets, 2 tvs, fridge and washing machine, about 4 5 cubby shelves and just the normal household items. The distance of the move was approx. 13 km. So all up the quote was for $481.50.
The company turned up late and I was charged for that! They proceeded to move and it took 5.5 hours as they really dragged it out and were slow and chatted a bit. While they chatted they stopped working. Eventually they finished, and they had put a tv in the back of their cab in the truck, in which I had to remind them to give it back, as they forgot it was there. I have a leather L shaped lounge, which I was told that they would wrap the furniture, and it wasn't wrapped in the truck and now the leather has scrapes in it!
The whole move cost me $720 to move a very s
