Global Sandstone Industries (GSI) was established around 2004 as a sandstone quarry, mining and selling Helidon sandstone. GSI is a second generation family owned business with a focus on customer service, quality products and serving the local community. GSI will be expanding it's operations globally over the next few years with a continual desire to grow and become the best sandstone quarry. Quarry

Hard Rock Quarries is a family business. Richard and Nshara began operating the quarry in April 2010. The quarry is situated approximately 20km west of Maryborough, Queensland in Yerra. Our road base products are of top quality and to date our customers have been pleased with the ease in which our products can be used. These qualities are mainly a result of the rock type at the quarry being a sedimentary rock called laterite which lends itself to the production of roadbase.
