The Hinterland Veterinary Surgery opened on the 2nd of April, 1980 and is located by the banks of the Nerang River on the Gold Coast, South East Queensland, in one of the remaining original Nerang buildings. The Surgery has evolved into a small animal practice specialising in high quality, personal care. Our friendly staff pride themselves on providing the best possible service to you and your pets. Many of the locals have been visiting the Surgery for over 25 years.

Animal Stars Dog Training services include dog obedience training, problem-solving, puppy training and advanced Star-Training. We offer private dog training lessons and Board & Train courses. We pride ourselves on a record of outstanding results, with a limit of 2 dogs on our Board & Train course at any one time so you can be sure that your dog is receiving special attention. Our facilities include 4 large, safe and airy kennels with runs and day yards, a secure air-conditioned dog training studio and a beautiful acreage property. Owners are most welcome to come and preview our training and boarding facilities.
