The Boat Shed was built in 1979 along with major renovations to the nationally recognised sailing club, Belmont 16s. The space was necessary to house the many championship Skiffs that had outgrown previous storage spaces dating back as far as the Club’s establishment in 1922. Transformed into The Boat Shed Bar in 2015, the space is now home to a vibrant crowd of independent craft beer and fine wine enthusiasts.
