Gosford Library was opened in 1969 and has an extensive local studies and family history reference section.

Erina Library was opened in 2003, as part of the expansion of Erina Fair Shopping complex.

Kariong Library opened in June 2002 and has a wide range of reading material to borrow.

Kincumber Library was opened in 2003.

The Woy Woy Library was originally built in 1931. In August 1948 Woy Woy Library started it's operations in one room of the building. In 2002 the library underwent a major refurbishment.

Umina Beach Library was opened in 1983. This library is 4km from Woy Woy railway station.

Public Library operated by Lake Macquarie City Council offering residents and tourists a wide range of items for loan and local history reference.
