Belinda has over 10 years of experience and has worked across numerous settings including private practice, adolescent and adult mental health, indigenous mental health, and acute mental health. Belinda offers a warm and genuine approach and uses evidence-based treatments to help clients make positive life changes. Belinda is trained in the following therapeutic modalities: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and the Circle of Security Parenting Program. Belinda is registered to provide services through the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), Workcover Queensland, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Now a psychologist focusing on relationships of all types, whether they be couples, families, or parental. We all desire the support, safety and security of a close loving relationship. Emotionally Focused Therapy is an experiential therapy designed to repair old wounds, build new ways of expressing our emotional responses evoked by another's actions and emotional displays. Sometimes this can be as result of our family of origin, or childhood trauma from other sources, that tripper emotional responses trying to protect us, but can be maladaptive in the current relationship.
